Eats:
(Manhattan)
Chalait Café – The cutest little cafe that is a personal favorite of mine. The wide variety of matcha flavored foods are as yummy as they are unique and the decadent sandwiches are a treat!
Chelsea Market
75 9th Avenue

Lafayette Café and Bakery – If you are looking for a brunch place this is great! I love their refreshing juices and their cheese platters are awesome.
380 Lafayette Street
New York, NY 10003
La Colombe Café- I’m obsessed with little, photogenic cafés like this one and the coffee is super good.
Here is one of their many locations:
400 Lafayette Street New York, NY 10003
Becco- This is a nice Italian place located partly underground that although I’ve only been to once I love.It is the perfect pre-broadway dinner destination!
355 West 46th St
New York, NY 10036
By Chloe- Although it has a completely vegan menu you would never know because they make their healthy, plant based food extremely tasty. Make sure to try the Mexican chocolate cake and to sit in their comfy hanging chairs.
185 Bleecker Street
New York, NY 10012
Dean and Deluca- I know this may be an obvious one but this is definitely my go to NYC grocery, lunch, and quick snack place. You can find anything from sushi to fresh produce to hot coffee their.
{my matcha addiction is serious}
(Brooklyn)
Reunion Café- You can really never have too many café options, right? Recently I stayed in Brooklyn for the first time and our hotel was right next to this adorable breakfast place. Their avocado is the best!
544 Union Avenue Brooklyn, New York
Meadowsweet- I loved the bright atmosphere of this restaurant and the food is top notch.
149 Broadway
Brooklyn, NY 11211
Zona rosa- This restaurant is super cool, it is an upscale Mexican restaurant and they built it around an airstream in which they now do the cooking!
571 Lorimer Street Brooklyn, NY
Odd Fellows Ice Cream- In the perfect location to grab some ice cream and then eat it by the water and look at the manhattan skyline.
175 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249
Clothes:
Cure Thrift- I haven’t explored many thrift stores in New York yet, however, I heard about this one and once I tracked it down it was really great!

111 EAST 12TH STREET NEW YORK, NEW YORK 10003
Double Agent Pop Up Shop- I found this while walking around Soho and it has adorable clothes that remind me a bit of Brandy Melville but with a certain uniqueness to them as well. It is based in Spain and will only be here for a limited time.
Beacon’s Closet- I’m so glad I was told about this thrift store. I spent hours there and made some really great finds.

Activities :
The High Line- What used to be an old railroad is now an elevated 1.45 mile walkway with beautiful views that I completely recommend. There are many stairways that lead to it so it is not difficult to find!
Chelsea Piers- I love this place because there is a great farmers market, indoor soccer courts, and boat trips that leave from there. It’s super busy and fun.
23rd Street & Hudson River Park
62 Chelsea Piers
New York, NY 10011
The Whitney- I go to New York all the time yet I had never been to the Whitney until the most recent time I visited. Every floor is intriguing and each has an outside balcony that overlooks the city.
The Brooklyn Flea- If you are ever in Brooklyn visit this flea market it has a variety of different, sometimes even wacky stands from which you can pick up cool, inexpensive pieces
Broadway:
The Lion King- This is so incredible. I’ve seen it twice now!
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time- Definitely would recommend but catch it soon because it goes away this September.
The set was the best part!
Live the life you love,
xoxo Callan
